“Diet is one of the hardest things to tackle next to mindset.”
Topics Discussed:
🦩Digging into food intolerance.
🦩The best tests for intolerances.
🦩Is water fasting good for us?
🦩Managing endometriosis.
In today’s episode, I am answering your questions on food intolerances and more. There are many different food intolerance tests and not all are created equal. I dive into what tests I recommend and think work the best.
Then once we get our test results where do we go from there? It can be overwhelming when you receive your results especially if there are a lot of intolerances that come back from your tests. But everything doesn’t have to be all at once.
We can make small steps towards changing our diet. Baby steps are okay.
Sometimes if we are intolerant to food it will flare right up and we will see external signs, but sometimes our intolerances are more hidden so we have to really take a deep look. Usually, we see the common inflammatory foods pop up on most tests, but we also see a lot of random foods pop up so it is always good to get thorough testing done.
“IVF is not a long-term solution to health.”
I also dive into questions about water fasting, getting the nutrients you need, folic acid, cycles, and much more. There is no one quick fix, but when we slowly begin to implement the different diet, lifestyle, and mental attributes we can make great strides.

🦩 Radical responsibility for childhood illnesses.
🦩 Impact of pregnancy on the mother's health.

“Start where you are at.”
Topics Discussed:
🦩Low sex drive
🦩Managing Stress
🦩Dealing with self-blame
🦩When to use supplements.
On today's episode of the Finding Fertility Podcast :: How to Get Your Partner to Take a Sperm Test
“There’s no past life putting this on you.”
When it comes to lifestyle changes we all can do things to improve it and improve our chances of fertility. Today I answer your questions and help deep dive into some common issues.
In this episode, I cover your partner’s low sex drive and how to approach your spouse so that they recognize their need to make lifestyle changes. There is no one size fits all to this but I walk you through some options.
“There’s nothing wrong with you.”
In addition, we talk about the importance of managing your stress levels and why this plays such a big role in your journey. Stress can often undo so much of our hard work, which is why we have to be sure and focus on it.
We also discuss supplements. We can often think that supplements are the end-all solution, but in truth, if our stress levels are high, if we are not changing the way we eat or our lifestyle and we are not figuring out what foods we are insensitive to, then we are ultimately spending a lot of money for nothing.
We will dive into the importance of starting small, and making simple lifestyle and eating changes to make lasting long term effects on your health.
“We have to take control of the emotions.”

“Don’t feel overwhelmed that you have to fix all these issues.”
Topics Discussed:
🦩What tipping points look like.
🦩How past trauma affects your physical body.
🦩How other issues trickle down to infertility.
🦩How to tackle root causes.
On today's episode of the Finding Fertility Podcast :: Is Secondary Infertility the Same as Unexplained Infertility?
You can only mistreat your body for so long before it stops working like it used to. Our bodies handle inflammatory foods and deal with them the best they can but eventually, we begin to have symptoms that start popping up.
It’s not that all of a sudden something different happened, but that our bodies have reached that tipping point and can no longer handle the diet and lifestyle we are subjecting it to.
“Your body has a tipping point.”
In addition to the diet and lifestyle habits that can wreak havoc on our bodies, we also have the trauma and stress side of things. Trauma can greatly impact our bodies and not just extreme cases of trauma, but even what is considered “minor” by society can have a great impact on our bodies.
We have to deep dive and take into consideration what things we may have never dealt with.
“Food intolerance is linked to what’s going on in your body.”
As we begin to have reactions or our bodies respond negatively towards foods and stressors, we can begin to address these different causes, both with the diet side and the mindset and lifestyle side.
Rather than being overwhelmed with all the issues we need to correct, we can rest assured that as we begin to restore our bodies, find our inflammatory foods, and stressors, all the issues begin to slowly resolve.
“The cool thing is, if you are addressing the root causes of your body’s issues, all your issues will slowly reverse."

“Take a stance for your body.”
Topics Discussed:
🦩Miscarriages and the misconceptions of doctors.
🦩 Improving your egg quality.
🦩How failure can push us forward.
🦩Fighting for your body with your doctor.
On today's episode of the Finding Fertility Podcast :: How to Deal with Recurrent Miscarriages
For us to be considered candidates for insurance for IVF, doctors tell us that we have to experience three miscarriages.
But this type of thought process is ludicrous. We have to understand that it is traumatic going through that and have to take a strong stance for our bodies.
Doctors are often not educated on autoimmune disorders. Sometimes they simply don’t know the information, and other times they choose to have closed minds and not listen.
“The gut is the driver for things going on in your body.”
This is why it is so important for us to be educated and to know that we ultimately have the final say.
I wish I had more confidence in my journey to speak up to my doctors, ask questions, and let them know what I wanted, as it would have saved me a lot of frustration on the journey.
In this episode, we dive into taking ownership of your health even in the doctor’s office.
“Trust your gut.”
