On today's episode of the Finding Fertility Podcast :: What is the Best Fertility Diet?
When it comes to our autoimmune disorders and getting pregnant naturally we often turn to some of the mainstream diets in order to solve those problems. But often these diets fail to address the specific foods that cause inflammation problems in us.
That is why it is so crucial that we discover what foods give us as individuals problems. This can be done through tests that show us what our food intolerances are.
I get it, jumping on an already set diet plan is an easier option, but you can follow diets and still live an unhealthy lifestyle. So where do we start with determining what foods disagree with us?
The easiest way to start is by looking at the top five inflammatory foods, which are: gluten, corn, soy, dairy, and sugar.
While these items are not all-inclusive, just by examining these items we can usually determine the cause of many of our gut health issues.

We also are going to dive into supplementation. Remember, supplements are to come alongside a great diet, they can’t fix a poor diet. But even with supplements, we have to be careful.
Just because we are purchasing high quality and well-known supplements does not mean they are the right fit for you. Just as with food, supplements can cause adverse reactions in different people so it’s important to find which ones are right for you.

When it comes to PMS, we have come to a point where we accept whatever it throws at us. We deal with pain, aches, cramping even when it is extreme because we have begun to believe that is normal. But PMS pain especially when it is intense is not normal.

So how do we evaluate whether or not our PMS is normal or if we need to re-evaluate it. In this episode I sit down with Lisa Hendrickson-Jack as we discuss what a normal healthy cycle looks like and what we should begin to evaluate if our cycle looks different.
We also dive into how health, exercise, sleep and what we eat play so much of a role not only in our infertility journey but in how our body’s respond to and make hormones. We have to learn how to listen to our bodies and recognize when something is off based on us, rather than what someone else, or even society tells us.
